In 2015, my world collapsed. The two women who built me · my grandmother who raised me and my mother who loved me · were gone. My grandmother to a brain aneurysm. My mother to breast cancer. And I was left holding grief, questions, and a decision.

I could stay broken. Or I could build something that honored them. I chose to build.
